Hi, I'm Ella!
I've always been passionate about food and cooking. From the moment I wake up, I’m thinking about my next meal—what to make, where to eat. When I travel, my first curiosity isn’t the landmarks; it’s the local food.
But beyond taste, I’m fascinated by what happens inside the body. Everyone is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to health. That’s why I focus on testing - blood, urine, and stool—to understand what’s really going on.
One of my key areas of expertise is hormones and gut health. Hormones are everywhere in the body, influencing everything from energy to mood, metabolism, and overall well-being. Understanding their balance is crucial for optimizing health. I love what I do, and I think I’m good at it. I'm not a doctor, but I help people take control of their health through science and nutrition. That’s who I am.
My story
To be honest, I wasn't at all interested or passionate about nutrition at first.
On the contrary, when I was younger, I was in the world of advertising and design...
However, my strengths have always been curiosity, creativity and the desire to share my ideas.
My nutrition journey began in 2003, with a growing desire to educate myself and understand the power of food on my body. It was around this time that I became pregnant.
Always comfortable in the kitchen, and increasingly intrigued by the molecular biochemistry side of food, I naturally immersed myself in nutrition and its effects on my body and on my future baby. I firmly wanted to acquire the necessary knowledge to access the (best) nutrients and their benefits for my child and me.
So it was driven by these desires for health and knowledge that I decided to drop everything, to leave a very promising career in visual communication and to resume my studies!
